This plant is a small mat-forming succulent from Cape Province of South Africa. It is somewhat rare

The leaves are thick, up to 1.8 cm (0.7 in) long, light green to bluish-green or occasionally purplish.

Both surfaces of the leaf are covered with greyish tubercles with a few greyish-white teeth on the upper surface.

Flowers are daisy-like, silky, pale to golden yellow, yellowish bronze or salmon pink. The winter flowers are up to 3 cm (1.2 in) in diameter.
