(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of NE Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. In warm climates, it is a 21 metre tree while in colder areas inland it is a much smaller tree. An evergreen tree in the tropics and somewhat deciduous in cold climates, it has an unusual form with foliage to ground level.

An ornamental tree that can be used for cattle and sheep fodder, it being not as astringent as other fodder plants. The timber is useful for tool handles and cabinet work. Young shoots give off an odour of sarsaparilla when damaged.

Providing splendid shade in bloom. Bird and butterfly attractant, fragrant small white flowers.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds with propagation notes.
