Finger Argyroderma, False Stoneflower
Argyroderma fissum

This plant is a small clump-forming perennial succulent growing up to 20 cm (8 in) tall in time with a spread of 30cm (12 in). Eventually they form large mats of bluish-green, finger-leaved clumps quite different to other members of the Argyroderma genus.
The flowers are solitary and magenta with a white centre, though pink, red and yellow variations are known. The leaves are smooth, finger-like, rounded at the tip and flattened on the upper side, there is no keel. They are green, bluish-green to whitish-grey and often reddish at the tips. Flowering is in midwinter.
This plant’s natural habitat is the Western Cape area of South Africa.
