Artemisia dracunculoides

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List

A plant of Eurasia where it is cultivated as a culinary herb. There are two genetic variations of the plant being Russian Tarragon and French Tarragon. Seed for the Russian species is obtainable but French Tarragon produces sterile seed and must be grown from cuttings or rhizomes.

Tarragon grows 130 cm tall (4.5 ft) with slender branches. The flowers are insignificant (the French variation often does not flower at all) and the leaves are the useful part of the plant. Leaves may be used fresh or dried and are an ingredient of many tasty dishes.

Offered is a packet of  100 seeds complete with Grownotes to assist you in their propagation.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
