Native to New South Wales, Australia,  this tree prefers light to heavy, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is a frost and drought-resistant shrub of coastal heathlands.

An evergreen shrub or small tree, that grows to 4 metres and spreads 4 metres. The stem is stout, branching with a well-rounded crown. The leaves are bright green, linear and 2cm long.

The flowers are golden-bronze cylindrical spikes, 40 cm long, appearing through autumn and winter.

Offered is a packet of 5 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this very Australian plant.
