Wisteria Tree
Bolusanthus speciosus
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)
The Wisteria Tree (Bolusanthus speciosus) is not a Wisteria at all. A small tree, native of East and South Africa, it grows to a height of 6 m with a spread of 3 m and is rarely seen in cultivation.
A spectacular deciduous tree, it is frost hardy but drought tender. The leaves are complex and fern-like.
Flowering in Autumn, the pea flowers are violet-blue and hang in long racemes like that of the Wisteria Vine.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to grow this very easily grown tree.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
