Crimson Bottlebrush

Callistemon citrinus

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)

A native of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, it prefers light to medium, moist soils in a sunny position. Growing to 4 metres as a tall shrub or small tree, it bears crimson brushes throughout the year.

A very hardy plant, it was the most grown Callistemon before the advent of the many cultivars now available.

While resisting frosty conditions, prolonged drought is a problem. This plant accepts very wet conditions.

Offered is a 2 gram packet of approx 40,000 seeds with Grownotes to assist you.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
