A native of New South Wales, it prefers medium to heavy soils in a moist, protected position. This plant has been listed as endangered by conservationists.

It is drought and frost resistant and once established is quite hardy. An evergreen shrub to 1.5 metres with a spread of 1.5 metres, it has an open crown of stiff, narrow leaves and orange brushes in spring. (There are also dull red and green flower forms of this plant.)

Offered is a packet of approx 200 seeds with Grownotes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
