Pink Flowering Geraldton Wax

Chamaelaucium uncinatum

(This plant is NOT on the Australian Noxious Weed List)

A native of the western coast of Western Australia, it is widely grown in gardens and commercially cultivated as a cut flower. It occupies a large proportion of our cut flower exports.

An evergreen shrub with an open crown growing to 2.4 metres (8ft) with a spread of 2.4 metres (8ft), it prefers light, well drained soils in an open sunny position. Its flowers are pink.

An easily grown shrub. However,  Geraldton Wax resents root disturbance once it reaches flowering age.

This seed requires smoke treatment to germinate which can be found by searching for ‘smoke treatment’ in my store. Smoke treatment is the simple process of sprinkling treated vermiculite over the sown seeds.

Offered is a packet of 20 seeds and Grownotes to allow you to propagate this popular cut flower.

All my seed travels safely with bubble wrap protection.
