This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
This perennial plant has bright, beautiful 75mm (3in) daisy-like flowers on long stems which makes them an excellent cut flower. It is hard to believe that flowers so bright and dramatic come from a perennial plant. Flowers of pink and red with prominent yellow centres bloom from spring into early summer and autumn blooms may be had by pruning almost to ground level after flowering. This plant is used as an insect repellent.
This Chrysanthemum prefers light, rich, well-drained soils in a sunny position; where climates are very hot some light afternoon shade is beneficial as is additional moisture.
Offered is a packet containing approx. 100 seeds with propagation notes.
