Foxglove plants are biennials. That is, they grow for the first year and flower the next, set seed and die.
Often described as being stately when in bloom, Foxgloves produce enormous spikes of large, dangling bells in a very showy display of colour.
This plant does best in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soils (of which it is not fussy) or pots. An easy-care plant requiring moderate water, it produces blooms in creamy yellow, deep pink, light pink, mauve, lilac, salmon and white. The plant grows 120-150cm (47-59in) with a spread of 30-45cm (12-18in) and has a medium growth rate. It is bird attracting and unattractive to deer and rabbit.
This variety is one of the best flowers available for light shade and as a cut flower has a very good vase life.
Offered is a packet containing 40 seeds and Grownotes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
