(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of New South Wales, it prefers light, well-drained soils in an open, sunny or partly shaded position. Being a succulent of the Agavaceae family, it is very drought resistant but is frost tender.

Suitable as a large garden specimen plant, it is an evergreen to 1.5m x 1.5m with a flower spike reaching 4 to 5 metres. The flowers are blood red with abundant nectar (which the birds enjoy) and appear from spring to summer.

Offered is 5gm of seeds with Grownotes to assist you to succeed.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
