Eucalyptus crenulata

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

Native to Victoria, it grows in a small area in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in moist to swampy ground. A tree of 10 metres (30 ft) with rough, dark bark on the trunk and yellowish-grey smooth bark on the limbs. The young leaves, much sought-after by florists, are egg or heart-shaped, arranged in opposite pairs and clasp the stem (no leaf stalk). The margins of the leaves have small, rounded teeth and a white powdery bloom which eventually wears off. Florists often use the foliage as a filler in arrangements.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (includes chaff) and Grownotes. Buyers should read the disclaimer below.

DISCLAIMER.

All Eucalyptus/Corymbia seed is harvested from the wild under licence and is sold as a combination of fertilised/unfertilised (chaff) seed. In many cases, it is not possible to tell the difference. The ratio of fertilised seed varies greatly and depends wholly on weather conditions prior to seed set. Standard industry practice is to offer 200 seeds per packet which translate to something like 10 to 30 viable seeds (which have not been counted). If the above is not acceptable to you, please do not purchase any of the above seeds.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
