Hovea pungens

A native of Western Australia, it prefers light to medium soils in a protected semi-shaded position. It is drought and frost resistant.

An evergreen shrub growing to a height of 1 metre with a spread of 1 metre (3ft). The stem is erect and stiff with softly woolly branches. The leaves are narrowly lanceolate, leathery and prominently veined. The flowers are purple to white pea-shaped occurring in small clusters from winter to summer.

Offered is a packet of 15 seeds and comprehensive Grownotes to assist you to propagate this easily grown plant.
