Lavatera Beauty Mix
Lavatera trimestris cv
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
Lavatera is a member of the Malvaceae family which includes the Hibiscus and Hollyhock. The flowers, which resemble the Hibiscus, are quite large, 10cm across (4in) and are excellent as a cut or dried flower.
This cultivar is a dwarf, well branched, growing to a height of 65cm (25in). The seeds are a mixture of the ‘Beauty’ strains of four colours; Pink Beauty, Rose Beauty, Salmon Beauty and White Beauty. It has a very long flowering period.
It tolerates most soils and a broad pH provided they are average to moist. It should be ‘dead-headed’ to promote repeat flowering.
Offered is a packet of 60 seeds with Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this easily grown annual.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
