Leptospermum grandiflorum

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.

An uncommon (though not rare) native shrub from the eastern coastal areas of Tasmania where it prefers slightly acid (5 to 6.5) sandy loam to clay loam, moist soils in part shade to full sun position.

An evergreen rounded shrub to 2 metres (6ft) with an elegant appearance due to its small, ovate to elliptic, grey-green leaves which are fragrant when crushed. The flowers are white, fragrant, perfect, solitary, saucer-shaped and showy, appearing in July (autumn in the southern hemisphere).

Propagation by seed occurs readily.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
