Native to the American prairie, this native wildflower has been bred for the cut flower industry. These plants form a low clump of grassy looking leaves and bare tall spikes of bright magenta-purple flower mid-summer to autumn. 

Easy care, drought tolerant plants that are attractive to butterflies and birds. Plants are easily divided every 3 or 4 years in spring.
