This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
This African native prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought-resistant but frost tender.
A perennial plant growing to a height of 70 cm (30 in) with a spread of 30 cm (12 in). It has long, angular stems with everlasting, papery flowers in seven colours: violet, white, pink, purple, rose, lemon yellow and apricot. Used for both cut and dried flowers (with good colour retention), it can also be used as a bedding or bordering plant. For cold climates, it can be grown as an annual.
