Lupinus polyphyllus cv – Lupin Russell Mix seeds x15

Lupin Russel Mix is a source of vibrant, majestic, late Spring colour and it is a trouble-free, reliable garden performer that will bring many years of delight from a single sowing.

Multiple flowers arise along at least a third of the tall 3 feet spikes opening from the bottom up and give an even longer bloom time. The plants spread 30 cm (12 in) to 40 cm (16 in) wide creating a bushy mass of bright green foliage beneath the bloom spikes.

Lupins are a magnet to butterflies and bees, they also attract birds. The bright vertical splashes of colour can be cut for a long-lasting floral display in your favourite vase. Bloom colours are pink, mauve, pale yellow, light blue medium blue, dark blue, bluish-violet, lavender, purple, purple-black, and white.

This item is in very short supply. Overseas suppliers are experiencing a disease attack on crops which Australia does not have. Australian suppliers have agreed not to source seed from overseas until the disease is eradicated. Consequently, the seed has gone from cheap/abundant to expensive/rare on the Australian market.
