Matthiola incana cv

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.

Stock, a native to Europe, Asia and North Africa, are famous for their sweetly scented flowers. They are also known as Gillyflowers or Matthiola and were once grown for medicinal purposes. Surprisingly, they are a member of the cabbage family.

Bushy, erect plants growing to 45cm (18in) with grey-green leaves, they flower from spring through summer if the seed is sown in succession. Some varieties make good cut flowers.

Colours range from burgundy, red, rose, pink, apricot and white.

Offered is a packet of 100 seeds with grownotes to assist you in successfully cultivating these lovely annuals.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
