Snow in Summer

Melaleuca linariifolia

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

Melaleuca linariifolia has the common name of Snow In Summer because of its mass flowering. Growing as a small dense tree, it reaches 6 metres in cultivation and has a papery bark that is typically used in bark paintings. It is an excellent shade tree.

Its natural habitat is in Queensland, South Australia and Northern Territory along dry watercourses. Frost and drought tolerant, this tree is one of the tough ones.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
