Nigella damascena cv – Nigella Blue Persian Jewels Mix seeds x200

A native of the Mediterranean region and Western Asia it has been known and grown for many years as Love in a Mist for its purplish-blue flowers. This selection of seed from the Persian Jewel hybrid series is of the light, bright blue colour.

A fast growing, easily grown, hardy annual with attractive fennel-like foliage reaching a mature height of 60cm (24in) with a spread of 20cm (8in). It is fully frost hardy and should be planted in full sun in fertile, well drained soil. Flowering can be prolonged by deadheading if the seeds are not required for next season. If the seed pods are allowed to drop their seed then you can have them come up of their own accord for years.
