A widespread shrub that grows on the coast and tablelands of New South Wales and extends into Queensland. The main concentration is on the Sydney sandstone soils but it also been found in Cooma.

A 1 metre evergreen shrub, its young growth is pubescent (hairy); the leaves are small 4-15mm long, linear to lanceolate with margins recurved (curled backwards). The flowers are pea-shaped, bright yellow to orange with or without red markings.

Flowering is mainly from August to October (Southern Hemisphere) late winter/spring.

Offered is a packet of 35 seeds with propagation notes.
