(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)

A native of Orange Free State, South Africa, this plant forms rounded clusters of branches, each branch having 1 – 3 pairs of pale, speckled leaves looking like split rocks. It is a free-flowering species with showy, yellow flowers that appear between the leaf pairs in Summer through Autumn.
The leaves are very variable in shape, swollen, long and narrow with a lower keeled surface, pale green to greyish green often with a pink flush and covered in dark green spots.
