Rhinephyllum muirii
(No Common Name)
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)
Rhinephyllum muirii is a perennial, low-growing succulent that forms a clump of finger-like leaves. The stem enlarges basally to form a fleshy caudex in time.
The leaves are inclined, ovoidal to trigonoidal to 25 mm long, green but reddening in full sun or during cold weather. They have small, whitish tubercles in the upper half and the margins and keel have a white cartilaginous edge.
The flowers are creamy-white, nocturnal and scented similar to over-ripe banana, sweet though not overpowering.
