This cultivar of Salvia farinacea is a perennial but grown as an annual in regions with a cold winter. Fast growing to 60cm (30in) tall, it has fragrant, lance shaped leaves of whitish grey to medium green, 75mm long and dense, long lasting, blue-lipped flower spikes that can grow to 30cm tall (12in). It is an outstanding plant for mass plantings, borders or containers.

This Salvia is tolerant of heat, drought, humidity, salt spray, sandy loam to clay loam and full sun but does not like frost.
