A native of the Western Australia coastal areas from Geraldton to Albany where it prefers light, white to grey
An evergreen shrub of variable height from 0.3 metres (13 in.) to 2 metres (6ft) with a spread of 2 metres. The stem is erect with spreading branches; the leaves are medium green, small, lanceolate with a rippled edge held on brittle stems. The flowers are lilac to blue, expanding tubular, fan-shaped occurring on short stems and held above the foliage. Flowering is from August to December (Southern Hemisphere).
Offered is a packet of 25 seeds with grow notes to assist you in successfully cultivate this drought-tolerant, long flowering, native shrub.
Note. This seed requires smoke treatment to germinate. The treatment consists of simply covering the seed with treated vermiculite during the sowing process. Treated vermiculite is available in my store, simply input ‘smoke treatment’.
