Titanopsis species
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)
Titanopsis are small plants from South Africa and Namibia which form a rosette of leaves up to 10 cm in high. The leaves are up to 3 cm long with a truncated (shortened) tip with warty tubercules at the apex. The leaves look like limestone and are very difficult to see in the wild. The name Tristaniopsis means ‘looks like limestone’ in Latin.
There are but few species in the genus and the photographs above are only representatives of the genus.
