Violas, small, mounding or clumping plants with a large ‘sunny’ face have long been a favourite with the gardeners of the world. Flowering through Spring and Autumn but avoiding the hot summer, this ideal border plant gives you two flushes of blooms each year.

The Pansy Faces Mix is a selection of the Swiss Giant variety which grows 15-20 cm high (6-8 in) gives you large, 75-100 mm (3-4 in) flowers that cover vigorous, sturdy plants which will tolerate frosts. Deadheading gives you the opportunity for additional and prolonged flowering but the practice generally prevents volunteer seedlings.
Violas require rich, organic, moist, well-drained, acidic soils and exposure to full and part sun. Water needs are moderate.
