Oven’s Wattle

Acacia pravissima

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

The Ovens Wattle (A. pravissima) is an attractive, low branching bushy shrub with grey foliage and masses of yellow flowers in Spring. New foliage growth has a purplish bloom.

Fast growing to a height of 3 – 5 meters, this hardy shrub comes from the drier areas of Victoria and NSW, tolerates most soils (it is lower growing on heavy soils) and will accept a minimum annual rainfall of just 600mm. It will withstand frost and some coastal exposure (salt).

Offered is a packet of 30 seeds of this lovely ornamental, silver-grey foliage plant and Grownotes to help you successfully cultivate it.

All my seed travels safely with bubble wrap protection.
