A native of the north east Queensland west of the Great Dividing Range, where it likes light, well drained soils in an open sunny position. It is drought tolerant.

An evergreen shrub or small tree to 3 metres with a spread of 2 metres. The stem is erect with a densely textured crown. The leaves heavily divide with bronze tips and the flowers are creamy white occurring in long dense spikes in spring.

Offered is a packet of 20 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this bird attracting tree.
