This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
The Sunsation cultivar sunflower has been bred as a bedding plant and grows 0.75 to 1 metre tall. It produces a number of flowers each 12-15cm (4 1/2-5 1/2in) in diameter throughout the season.
Sunsation is suitable as a cut flower and will bring delightful colour to any garden bed. Very easy to grow, it is suitable for children wishing to learn. Flowering is just 12 weeks from sowing.
Cultivation in full sun in prepared beds with an average water requirement is very easy.
Offered is a packet of 20 seeds with cultivation notes.
