Charming Sunray
A native of West Australia where it grows in sand, gravel or loam in open woodland and Mulga scrub. Its main concentration is the wheatbelt but specimens have been reported around Kalgoorlie/Coolgardie.
A pretty little annual, occasionally single stemmed, but usually bushy, branching at or just above the base. Leaves are alternate, filiform, up to 4cm long reducing in size up the stem. Glossy, yellow flower head, up to 3cm across, grow singly at the tips of the stems.
The flowering period varies from September/November in cultivation or August/November in the wild.
The flowers can be dried and wire well in dried flower arrangements.
Offered is a packet of 30 seeds complete with Grownotes to assist you in their propagation.
