Basil Holy, aka Indian, Thai or Tulsi Basil

Ocimum sanctum

This plant is not on the Australian Weed List.

This Basil is used in Indian and Thai cuisine and imparts the distinctive flavour of that cooking. A perennial herb is best sown Autumn to Spring in warm climates and Spring to Summer in cooler climes. Sow into a prepared bed when soil temperature of 23°C is experienced. Seed germinates in 10 – 14 days. Plant height is 45 cm at maturity.

Offered is a packet of approx. 100 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this herb.
