Parsley Triple Curled
Petroselinum crispum var crispum
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List
The Triple-Curled Parsley is a native to the Central Mediterranean region which includes Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. It has also naturalised to parts of Europe and can be seen growing in kitchen gardens worldwide.
Parsley is an annual or biennial plant depending on the climate in which it grows. Temperate climate allows the plant to over-winter with a large storage tap root while in sub-tropical and tropical climates the plant is an annual.
It grows as a rounded clump of stems each with one to three curled leaflets of mid-green and growing to 25 cm long. Harvesting is continual on a ‘need’ basis and cut stems may be stood in a glass of water to maintain freshness.
Offered is a packet of approx. 200 seeds with propagation notes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
