A member of the daisy family, this popular plant has gone through five different botanical names – the only constants being the plant and its common name.
An easy care, perennial growing to 15-40cm (1.5ft) with a similar spread. It has silvery grey/white foliage which provides an attractive contrast to other bold colours in the garden, particularly blue. Foliage is very variable and may range from entire, deeply lobed to intricately lacy.
Flowers occur in late summer/early autumn but are usually removed to prevent legginess and direct focus to the silvery foliage.
Offered is a packet of 150 seeds and propagation notes to assist you to add pure silver to your garden.
