Marigolds grow reliably in all climate zones and tolerate poor soils. Although standard marigolds reach an average height of 12 to 16 inches, the varieties in “Petite Mix” packets grow only 6 to 8 inches tall, making the bend a better choice for borders.
Like other garden annuals, “Petite Mix” marigolds can be started indoors or out. Once they start to grow, these easy-care plants require little maintenance.
The flower petals may be used in salads after removal from the bitter flower base.
Marigolds are considered easy-care and make excellent borders or cut flowers.
Offered is a packet containing 5 grams (3100 seeds approx.) and Grownotes.
