A new variety of Verbena that rivals cutting grown Verbenas for plant uniformity and sheer blooming power. Spreading 25cm (9 in), the Ideal Florist Series of Verbena grows rapidly to 30 cm (12 in) tall with a compact well-branched growing habit. (Mine are about twice that width!) Foliage is deep green and provides a lush backdrop to the clusters of white, red, purple and pinkish flowers.
This F2 (diploid) plant gives an excellent garden bed performance or grown in a very large, tall pot will cascade down its sides. Grown in a semi-shade or sunny spot, the rich colours will be commented on by passers-by.
Offered is a packet of 500+ seeds with propagation notes.
