Veronicas are an extremely popular plant valued for their long display during the summer months. The plants form a bushy clump of crinkled, dark green leaves bearing spikes of light to dark blue flowers all summer. The plants grow 60cm-1m (2-3ft) tall and are excellent for cut flowers.
Veronicas are hardy plants liking most soils, full sun to part shade, and will tolerate frosts down to minus 34.4 deg. C (-30F) USDA zones 3 – 9. Deadheading will result in more flowers in the autumn.
