Crowded Leaf Wattle
Acacia conferta

A native of New South Wales and Queensland, it prefers medium to heavy soils in a sunny, open position. It is drought hardy but frost tender.
An evergreen shrub to about 4 metres, the leaves are greyish-green, small, narrow and held close to the stem, hence its name. The flowers appear in Autumn and Winter as bright yellow solitary balls. It is often referred to by the common name ‘Golden Top’.
Offered is a packet of 30 seeds and Grownotes to assist to cultivate this unusual wattle.
