A native of New South Wales and Queensland, it prefers light to medium soils in a sunny, open position. It is drought and frost tender.

An evergreen shrub to about 2 metres with a spread of 2 metres. The leaves are silvery and dense on pendant branches. The flowers are deep yellow balls that appear year round.

Offered is a packet of 30 seeds and Grownotes to assist to cultivate this unusual wattle.
