A native of the Europe and Africa where it is adaptable to most soils and prefers an open, sunny position. It is frost resistant but dislikes drought.
A perennial plant growing to a height and spread of 30 cm. The stem is slender and erect; the leaves are round or kidney shaped, with undulating margins, and softly furry; the flowers are small, pale greenish-yellow occurring in dense, terminal heads.
This plant was used to aid blood coagulation following childbirth, as a mouthwash following tooth extraction and in the treatment of diarrhoea, inflammation of the mouth and throat and menstrual problems.
Offered is a packet of 30 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this small shrub.
