Amaranthus ‘Pygmy Torch’ is a real eye-catcher. It has long lasting, colourful, 30cm (12in) deep burgundy, erect, tassel-like flower spikes held above dark purplish green foliage.
A very early bloomer and easy to grow from seed, the flower spikes make good cut flowers or can be dried for use in arrangements.
A plant growing to 45cm (17in), it needs a position in full sun with well-drained, light soil and protection from late frosts.
Offered is a packet containing in excess of 150 seeds and Grownotes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
