Lemon Bottlebrush
Callistemon pallidus
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)
A native of the Great Dividing Range in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and widespread distribution in Tasmania, the Lemon Bottlebrush will tolerate moderate exposure to salt-laden air, frosty conditions and some dryness. However, its preference is for damp soils in a sunny position.

Lemon brushes appear in profusion from Spring to Summer complimenting the dense light green foliage and giving quite a display. A plant that grows to 3 metres with a spread of 2 metres if left unpruned.
Propagation by seed occurs readily.
