Palm LilyCordyline petiolaris(syn. Cordyline terminalis ssp. petiolaris)(This plant is NOT on the Australian Noxious Weed List) A native of northeastern New South Wales and south-east Queensland where it likes moist soils in a semi-shaded, sheltered position but will tolerate light to medium frosts. It is drought tender.A tall, narrow plant growing to 5 – 7 metres it has glassy, dark green leaves up to 50cm (20 in.) long and 75mm (3 in.) wide. Flowers are white to purple appearing in winter followed by strings of red berries which persist on the plant.This plant is also suitable for pot culture and as an indoor plant where it happily spends long periods inside.Offered is a packet of 20 seeds and Grownotes to assist you in propagation.
