Coriander, Cilantro or Chinese Parsley

Coriandrum sativum

This plant is not on the Australian Weed List.

Coriander is an annual herb also known as Cilantro (American) and Chinese Parsley that is used raw as a culinary herb garnishing or as a crushed seed – a spice. Coriander loses its distinctive flavour once cooked.

Known for thousands of years, the seed has been found in Egyptian tombs and it is mentioned in ancient Greek texts from the second century BC.

Considered easy to grow provided they have well-drained soil in a full sun position and it performs well in pot culture.

Offered is a packet of approximately 75 seeds of this slow-bolting variety complete with Grownotes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
