Red Bloodwood
Corymbia gummifera syn. Eucalyptus

A native of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, this handsome tree has an extensive coastal natural habitat and is found in the extreme east in Victoria, extending through New South Wales into southern Queensland.
A tall, evergreen tree growing to 35m (115ft), it prefers moist, rich, loamy soil but is also commonly found on poorer sandy soils
The stem is erect and straight, the bark is fibrous and the leaves are dark glossy green on the upper surface and paler beneath (discolorous).
The flowers are white appearing from December to June in the southern hemisphere.
The Bloodwoods were included in the genus Eucalyptus but have now been assigned to a genus of their own – that of Corymbia.
Offered is a packet of 50 seeds (includes chaff) and Grownotes to assist in the cultivation of this easily grown tree.
