Few plants grow as rapidly as colourful Cosmos which are uniform plants that bloom throughout the summer. Sensation Picotee is a cultivar that gives a profusion of intense, semi double flowers which combined with the feathery, green foliage gives an airy touch to the garden.
Cosmos have are very good vase life and are eminently suitable for use as a cut flower and make up well in a bouquet.
Tolerating poor soil, heat and humidity results in a very adaptable plant for the garden. If you do not dead head spent flowers they will reseed the garden for the next season and will attract seed eating birds.
Considered to be easily grown from seed.
