A native of the Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, this small shrub prefers light soils in an open, sunny or shaded position and is drought and frost resistant.

An evergreen shrub to 1 metre in height with stiff hairy stems, 2cm leaves and bright yellow pea flowers, streaked with red, in spring and summer.
