 Livingstone Daisy, Ice Plant
Dorotheanthus bellidiformis syn Mesembryanthemum
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.

A native of South Africa where it prefers poor, sandy soils in a sunny position. It does not like frost or shade.

The Livingstone daisy (also known as the Ice Plant) is a perennial (can be treated as an annual), low growing plant to 15cm (6in) high with a spread of 30cm (12in). The leaves are ovate, light green and succulent while the flowers come in yellow, cream, pink, lavender and orange solitary daisy-like blooms. The flowers close in cloudy weather.

Very much a low maintenance plant, it needs no fertiliser and dead-heading the spent flowers increases flower production

(at the expense of seed).

Offered is a packet containing 200 seeds and Grownotes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
